Ylang Ylang essential oil comes from the star-shaped flowers of the tropical Ylang Ylang tree. Like jasmine, it has been used for centuries in religious and wedding ceremonies. Its sweet, floral aroma helps create a calm and positive atmosphere. Ylang Ylang is also prized in luxury hair and skin care products for its nourishing and protective properties. It blends beautifully with Bergamot, Geranium, Grapefruit and Vetiver oils.
How to use:
• Add Ylang Ylang to a carrier oil to create a deeply nourishing hair mask.
• Add a few drops of Ylang Ylang to your Epsom salt bath to relax.
• Refresh your skin with an aromatherapeutic facial steam with Ylang Ylang oil.
• Apply to wrists for a sweet, floral perfume.
Directions for use:
• Local application: Apply 1-2 drops to desired area. To minimize sensitivity, dilute with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil.
• Aromatic use: Use 3-4 drops in a diffuser.
Contraindications:
Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing or under medical care, consult before use. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears and sensitive areas. Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays for 12 hours after applying the product.
