Vetiver, a member of the grass family, is cultivated for many reasons. Unlike other grasses, vetiver's root system grows, making it ideal for preventing erosion and providing soil stabilization. Vetiver has a rich, exotic, complex aroma that is widely used in perfumes. Vetiver's calming, grounding scent makes it an ideal massage oil. It can also be rubbed into the feet before bed to provide a peaceful sleeping environment.

How to use

• Apply 2-3 drops to the back of the neck or to the heart to achieve a feeling of calm and peace.
• Take a warm bath with a few drops of Vetiver essential oil for deep relaxation.
• Spray with Lavender, Serenity™ or Balance ^® for a calming aroma.
• Use a toothpick to get the desired amount out of the container if the Vetiver is too thick to get out of the bottle. A little goes a long way.

Application Tips

Local application: apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize skin sensitivity. Aromatic use: use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

Contraindications

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing or under medical care, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying the product.
