Oregano is one of the most potent and powerful essential oils and has been used in traditional health practices for centuries for its skin cleansing properties. The primary chemical components of Oregano are carvacrol and thymol, both phenols that have cleansing properties. Due to its high phenol content, caution should be used when inhaling or diffusing Oregano; only one to two drops should be enough. Additionally, when applied to the skin, Oregano should be diluted with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil. Oregano blends well with Bergamot, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Cloves, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Ginger, Lavender, Lemon, Rosemary, Thyme.

 How to use

• Dilute Oregano essential oil with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply to skin or damaged nails.
• Add one drop of Oregano to 10 drops of doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil for a soothing massage.
• Diffuse 2-3 drops into your chosen diffuser to purify the air.
• Add 10 drops to 16 oz. spray bottle of water to clean surfaces.

 Application Tips

Local application: apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize skin sensitivity. Aromatic use: use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

 Contraindications

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing or under medical care, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying the product.
