Lemon balm essential oil is one of our rarest and most expensive oils, and it has many benefits and uses. Because of its positive effect on mood, it has long been used topically to reduce feelings of tension and nervousness. This plant, also known as lemon balm, has also attracted honeybees with its sweet, fresh citrus scent for centuries. This is where its name “lemon balm” comes from, which means honeybee in Greek.

How to use

• Diffuse at night or rub into forehead, arms or chest for an aroma that will help reduce feelings of stress.
• Diffuse to create a relaxing environment that encourages restful sleep.
• Add to your moisturizer or spray bottle of water and spritz on face to rejuvenate skin and refresh mind.

Application Tips

Local application: apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize skin sensitivity. Aromatic use: use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

Contraindications

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing or under medical care, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying the product.
