Douglas Fir is a conifer that is native to North America. This tall, evergreen fir has a sweet and refreshing aroma with a light, lemony note! It is commonly used to cleanse the skin and promote positive mood. Douglas Fir essential oil is sustainably harvested from young trees in New Zealand, where too much of it threatens the country’s ecosystem. By harvesting young Douglas Firs and using them to produce essential oil, doTERRA helps reduce the impact of too many trees on the environment.

How to use

• Topical: Can be applied to skin undiluted, for children or people with sensitive skin dilute 1 drop in at least 1 drop of carrier oil. For massage, mix 5 drops with 10 ml of carrier oil. For bathing, mix 5 drops with 5 ml of carrier oil. For perfuming, mix 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil.
• Inhalation: Use with a diffuser or inhale the aroma directly from the bottle. Use three to four drops in your chosen diffuser.

Application Tips

• Add 1 drop to your face wash, bar soap or body wash for added cleansing benefits and a refreshing aroma.
• Combine with 1-2 drops of Wintergreen for a relaxing massage.
• Massage 1-2 drops into your hands and take a deep breath to help your airways feel clear and help you breathe easier.

Contraindications

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a physician if pregnant or undergoing treatment. Avoid eyes, inner ears and sensitive areas.
